The PhD Program in Innovation Management, International Business and Organization (IMIBO) provides an interdisciplinary research environment that combines managerial, organizational, and international perspectives. Innovation Management

This research area investigates innovation processes within organizations and the role of emerging technologies in value creation. Research activities cover a wide range of topics, including technological innovation, digital transformation, entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, open innovation, sustainability, new product development, and innovative business models.

International Business

This research area examines the dynamics of the global economy and firms’ internationalization strategies. Research activities cover a wide range of topics, including multinational enterprises, global value chains, international collaborations, international entrepreneurship, competitive strategies, and the effects of globalization on economic and productive systems.

Organization Studies

This research area explores how organizations function and how individuals, groups, and institutions shape organizational outcomes. Research activities cover a wide range of topics, including organizational behavior, leadership, human resource management, organizational change, organizational resilience, organizational innovation, and the impact of emerging technologies on work and organizations.
